Sleep Disorders Center
The Sleep Disorders Center at the University of Miami Miller School
of Medicine is a full service sleep disorders center providing
a wide range of services for individuals with sleep related

An accredited member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the
highly qualified physicians, researchers, technicians,
and support staff at the Sleep Disorders Center are dedicated to providing patients
with a variety of services and treatment programs for a number of sleep disorders, including:
- snoring
- sleep apnea and other sleep-related breathing
disorders
- narcolepsy
- periodic limb movements in sleep / restless
legs
- insomnia
- scheduling problems
Overnight sleep recording as well as daytime nap monitoring
are used to diagnose sleep related breathing disorders, narcolepsy,
and other conditions such as restless leg syndrome. Sleep
recording is performed in the National Parkingson Foundation
conveniently located on 9th Avenue in the University of Miami/Jackson
Memorial Medical Center.
The center also provides services to various institutions
in the South Florida area including Jackson Memorial Hospital.
